There will be a class offered for interested students in basic drawing techniques, the elements of art, and the principles of design.  Focus will primarily be on skills rather than production, on pencil drawing with some additional media explored depending upon student interest. Class will be meeting the second and fourth Thursdays of the month for January, February, and March from 3:30-5 pm.  It is suggested that students try to attend regularly to benefit from the continuity of instruction.  Some flexibility with dates may be necessary, but families will be informed of this in advance if this will be the case.  The class will be directed towards students grades 9-12.  Mature middle-school students with an interest in art will be considered for participation.  Please contact Kathleen Kinney to discuss whether this class will meet your student’s needs.

High School Art Class 3:30-5pm

Please reply to Kathleen.kinney@ideafamilies.org with this subject heading to let her know of your interest, student names, grades, and best way to contact you.  Thank you for your interest.
