IDEA’s High School Academic Decathlon Study group has unique opportunity for scholarships and comradery. There is still time to join that group that meets weekly in person at the Anchorage IDEA office. Also some members log in via TEAMS and some study on their own at home and meet for fewer study sessions. See the flyer and consider joining.

Would you like to visit with families who have students your age and enjoy the last bits of running trails before the snow? Then come join IDEA’s Running Club. Kids age 9 and up and adults may join the club which will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning August 23rd through September 8th. And then on Thursdays until September 29thth from 3:00pm – 4:00pm at Westchester Lagoon Playground.
Parents, you are welcome to participate in Running Club or stay at the Westchester Lagoon Playground area in case your student needs you. We will learn stretching techniques and begin training on the bike path. Our goal is to learn a bit about running.
