All meetings are at the Anchorage IDEA Office, 670 West Fireweed Lane. New families and families who have missed a General Orientation are encouraged to attend a General Orientation. You’ll meet other homeschoolers and we’ll cover how to use many of the resources available to you! This will $ave you time and money! Some families enjoying attending a General Orientation as a refresher and you are always welcome!!

We’d love to share other options – You can always drop by one of our offices. (Anchorage and Eagle River both have an office) You may also like to join our IDEA Field Rep at the Anchorage office or over zoom to meet other homeschooling parents and some of our IDEA Staff. We’ll talk options for curricula and schedules, clear up common misconceptions, get an intro to learning styles, and discuss if homeschooling would be a benefit for your family.
