October is the best time to file the FAFSA if you plan to start a postsecondary program. Don’t hesitate to file your FAFSA later in the year even if you missed the best time to file – you may still qualify for some aid. The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education provides many resources on the FAFSA, the Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS) and the Alaska Education Grant (AEG). Sign up for the next 3rd Tuesday! Normally, the morning 3rd Tuesday Art Club will be for Grades K-5 and meet from 10:30 to 11:45 am on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. This month (October) the High School Art Club will not be meeting because of the special High School event – (See Chart Your Course). And, K-8th grade students are invited to a special Field Trip to the Captain Cook. Details will be emailed to families who sign up!
