IDEA Curriculum Fair 2013: Keynote Meal

Attendee Welcome Page ~ Anchorage ~ Fairbanks ~ Juneau ~ Soldotna

Keynote: "How to Be the Perfect Homeschooler"

Keynote delivered by: Carol Simpson, mother of seven, homeschooler for 27 years

Now that she has homeschooled her seven children for 27 years, Carol has it down and does everything perfectly in her homeschool! (Ha! If you think that is true, then you really need to come to this workshop!)

We all want to do the best we can for our kids, and we often set high standards for ourselves. Carol has homeschooled seven different personalities through many seasons of her life. Come listen to her wit and wisdom as she shares some suggestions on how to balance who you imagine the perfect homeschooler is with who you really are.

(Although Carol works for IDEA, the keynote message will apply to every homeschooler, whether you are in a program or not. IDEA is not mentioned.)

Purchase Tickets Early!

Keynote Meal tickets are available from local IDEA offices for $12. All tickets must be purchased in advance so that we can provide accurate numbers to the caterers. The purchase price is the same for IDEA and non-IDEA attendees. The meals in every location cost far more than $12 each and are subsidized by IDEA so that more homeschoolers can be encouraged and inspired! Since there is limited seating in most locations, anyone taking a seat must purchase a ticket, including small children. Nursing babies are of course free.
