BIOGRAPHY

Brian Wasko has worked with teenagers and homeschooling parents as a high school English teacher, wrestling coach, youth and family life pastor, Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle leader, summer youth camp speaker, and Christian rapper. He currently directs the homeschool enrichment program for Sovereign Grace Church in Virginia Beach, where he also teaches weekly literature and grammar classes. He is the founder and president of WriteAtHome, an online program offering writing classes to middle and high school aged homeschoolers. Brian has also worked as a freelance writer and editor, and writes the curriculum for WriteAtHome. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1988 with a B.A. in English. Brian’s humorous, informal speaking style is popular with audiences young and old. Through his speaking, Brian is able to communicate his infatuation with words, his passion for learning, and his love for teenagers. Brian lives in Virginia Beach with his wife Melanie and his four home-educated daughters Stephanie, Taylor, Kerri, and Madison.
